***SOMETHING NEW:  We will have the shed open on Tuesday from 9:30-ish until around 3:00 if you want to check out all the fiber items, repurposed, vintage and antiques.  Andria from Red Gate Farm will be bringing over a few baked goods as well so make sure to stop by and visit us!  If you see something you want and the shed is not open just contact Sue at the restaurant.

 

In lieu of the current health crisis we will be only allowing people wearing masks to enter the building to pick up orders.  We will still have the outside window in the middle of the building available and we still ask that you wear a mask.  There is also limited seating on the deck by the river if you want to eat outside.

Due to the increase in business we are limiting our daily lunch specials.  You can always call and let us know if you are interested in a family size meal and we’ll be happy to try and put one together for you.  We have a lot to choose from and we are trying to keep our lasagnas and other goodies well stocked.

As always we will be happy to try and accommodate your special requests so please email me if you are hungry for anything special and we will try and get it on our menu!  We will be restocking our frozen foods and we will have a list of specials from the freezer as well.

Soups to start the week: We always have Chicken Tortilla, Gazpacho and a few others that we’ve been craving.  Follow us on Facebook for daily updates.

 

Sandwiches/Salad Specials:

Quesadillas:  Greek/Fresh spinach, onion, artichokes, sun-dried tomato, feta and mozzarella cheese served with a side of our Greek Dressing.   Beef or Chicken:  Cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, seasoned beef or chicken, fresh tomatoes, onion, black olives served chopped lettuce, sour cream and salsa.

Caprese Salads will be back on the menu starting Wednesday.  Our version is chopped Romaine Lettuce, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, local tomatoes garnished with some veggies and a side of our homemade Cherry Balsamic Dressing.

Special Salad:  Combo Platter that consists of a scoop of our Cherry Chicken, Tuna Salad and Egg Salad on a bed of greens garnished with mixed veggies and fruit.  Served with a slice of our freshly made foccacia bread.

Buffalo Chicken Wrap or Salad:  This one is good either way!  As a salad we’ll have a side of our Spicy Ranch Dressing!  We put our creamy bleu cheese chunks but if you prefer let us know and we will be happy to substitute Tillamook Cheddar.

Cherry Chicken is back on the menu!

Egg Salad Sandwich  $7.95, served with your choice of a bag of chips or one of our sides.

 

 Wednesday:  We will have Tomato Pie served with a side salad and your choice of a dessert or a beverage.

 

Desserts: We always have a wonderful assortment on hand.  Look for a variety of Chocolate Cake, Assorted Cupcakes, Cookies, Brownies, Caramel Cake, Lemon Bars, Fruit Bars, Dummy Bars and a whole lot of other goodies.

 

RIVERFRONT FIBER:  Look for a lot more fiber and handmade items here at Riverfront in 2020!  Some friends and I are working at bringing more fiber art to the area.  I am trying to use Michigan, or at least USA sourced fibers.  It has been an educating experience learning more about the fleeces that I am processing and dyeing.  If you want to take lessons or just need some fiber for a project just give me call!  Follow us on Facebook or look for us at the sites below!  Check out the Sleeping Bear Fiber Retreat!!!

FREEZER SECTION:  We have a large assortment of frozen dinners for $6.95 each, and a lot of them are big enough for two to share.  We also have frozen soups, for only $4.00 each  so that you can have some for dinner anytime from your own freezer.  Stop in and check out our every changing lists.

Gluten Free: We have gluten free pizza crust and sub buns always available.  We will also do any sandwiches we can for you in a gluten free bun.   There are also gluten free pizzas!

 

SANDWICHES:

Cherry Chicken Salad Sandwich:  Our ever popular cherry chicken is back for the season!  We roast and season chicken breasts then add some pecan pieces, crisp celery, dried cherries and mayo.

French Dip: Lean, thinly sliced roast beef on top of a crusty roll with a side of aujus.  If you want to add some Jarlsberg Swiss, just ask – no extra charge.

Roast Beef & Herbed Cheese:  We grill a crusty roll and top it with Alouette Herb cheese, thinly sliced roast beef, red onion, roasted tomatoes & greens with our balsamic herb drizzle.

Back to Basics Roast Beef:  Thinly sliced roast beef piled high on top of some Jarlsberg Swiss cheese with dill pickle slices, lettuce, tomato and mayo.  I prefer it on a toasted roll but you can have it on bread if you would prefer.

Turkey Havarti Sandwich We use roasted turkey breast and a creamy Havarti cheese, then add some fresh tomatoes and greens. Served with our roasted red pepper mayo, unless you catch us before we make it to have your own choice on condiments.

White Albacore Tuna We take the best white albacore tuna and blend it with fresh lemon, herbs, celery, light onion and real mayo then serve it up on our thick multi grain bread with greens. ( You can always have it grilled with cheddar cheese if you want something warm.)

Veggie Pita Burger  (sorry no 1/2’s on pitas) If your body is craving something healthy and full of fiber try our new veggie burger! We grind a mixture of beans, grains, veggies and herbs then serve it on a grilled pita with cucumber sauce, tomato and greens.  You can also have it in a wrap if you would prefer.

Turkey Apple Club Wrap:  A flour tortilla is filled with sliced turkey breast, slices of apple, crispy apple cured bacon, Tillamook cheddar cheese, honey mustard dressing, tomatoes and greens.

SALADS
:

Roast Beef & Blue Cheese Salad:  Chopped Romaine lettuce is topped with lean roast beef, blue cheese crumbles, roasted tomatoes, cucumber, garnished with sunflower seeds and served with our homemade cherry balsamic dressing.

Cobb Salad:  We top a blend of iceberg lettuce and greens with blue cheese crumbles, chicken breast, crisp apple cured bacon, hard boiled egg and tomatoes.

Spinach Salad:Fresh spinach, bacon, mandarin oranges, toasted almonds, red onion, blue cheese crumbles, fresh mushrooms, hard boiled egg with a side our our homemade bacon dressing.

Greek Salad Platter:Our wonderful Greek salad is overflowing with black olives, tomatoes, artichokes, pepper rings and black olives, stuffed grape leaves and pickled beets.

Chef’s Salad:A mixture of spring mix and iceberg lettuce is topped with grated cheddar, ham, turkey, mushrooms, black olives, tomatoes, cukes and a hard boiled egg. Your choice of dressing.

Caesar Salad w/Chicken:Fresh and crispy Romaine lettuce, shredded parmesan cheese, grilled chicken breast, homemade croutons and our yummy Caesar dressing.

Maurice Salad:Julienne iceberg lettuce, ham, turkey, Jarlsberg swiss cheese, sweet gherkins are served with our own homemade dressing.

House Tossed Salad:A small side salad made of crisp iceberg lettuce and mixed greens, mushrooms, tomatoes, cucumbers, black olives & carrots.
